Here we have... an Original 1940's (scarce) NARROW FORMAT, one colour, AUSTRALIAN daybill FILM NOIR movie poster: "I LIVE ON DANGER"starring Chester Morris and Jean Parker. This is an Australian version, printed by Offset Printers, Sydney. According to Wikipedia:I Live on Danger is a 1942 film noir thriller film directed by Sam White and starring Chester Morris and Jean Parker.. Dimensions approx: 25 cm w x 76 cm One of a LARGE COLLECTION I am offering that we purchased in the late 80's from the estate of a deceased Sydney based antique dealer .CONDITION: VERY GOOD-FINE - please see detailed photos for best indication of condition.Also...these pile of posters have been stored in a large bundle for many years so will need time to flatten out. They are offered with slight shaping around each fold (often with wider creasing). With this in mind, I am rating them in this manner: MINT: Virtually unused NEAR MINT: A poster that is virtually unused but may have minor edge dings and creasing to the surface. FINE: A poster showing light wear. It will show signs of use, such as edge dings, creases or minor wear to the fold lines. VERY GOOD: A poster that is well used but still presentable. May have multiple extra creases but clean and good colour. No holes or tears.GOOD: Small tears to edges, very small amount of paper loss. Light spotting.FAIR: More significant combinations of issues.POOR: Larger tears, fading, discolouration to the image.
