Description: You don't need to read this 1st paragraph if you have read it before. This is a home recording reel to reel my dad big Bill Korst (a discographer and noted expert on vintage Jazz music) made probably between 1950-70 -he has passed away and I never really was able to get together on him on these homemade -- extremely rare music in most cases (mostly broadcasts / air checks live performances and transcriptions I believe)- I am going have to go with the written pages he left on the reel boxes--and a couple small booklets he wrote with the contents. This one is in a Scotch box 7 inch, 1.5 mil, 1200 feet, this is 12 - 16" transcriptions songs of rare Count Basie with Lester Young (not sure, what exactly he is on) recordings on Lang Worth + Armed Forces Radio Service, these were transcriptions on all I think 16", see the 4th photo above to see song lists, alot of music, I have a real vinyl 16" one over on discogs c1944 has Lester Young Lang Worth AS-51 AS 52, only have 1 of this reel tape. I have had no complaints on sound yet on the same type / age reels. Buy this 7" reel to reel tape of recordings (not the vinyl) now for $299.95. I do not know what (Lester) is on.
