Description: Yarn Lot of 2 Hanks and 5 center pull cakes. Deep forest green with white splotches throughout. This yarn, (in my opinion), is a Lt.3. The yarn has a good twist to it. Over 1 lb of yarn. 1,416 total yards. Medium softness (in my opinion). 71% Cotton 28% Acrylic 1% Wool Each hank/cake is tagged with it's basic info such as yardage etc. Cakes have stabilizer bands (should be carefully cut and removed before attempting to use) and a marked center pull. The hanks have stablizer ties, and different colored ties at the beginning and end of ea. hank.This all helps to keep the hanks and/or cakes together without getting tangled up. Uses: Crocheting, weaving, knitting, tapestry etc., the creative possibilities are endless. Beautiful Reclaimed yarn, that I personally processed. It's exciting to have and use unique yarns that aren't available on the store shelves. I have personally woven and crocheted many items using reclaimed yarn, with no problems at all. Metallic threads maybe extra stretchy and loose. I would not recommend using reclaimed yarns on knitting machines. Each hank or cake group of yarn is from a garment that has been carefully chosen for it's colorway, feel, and fiber content. Each garment is properly cleaned and dried before processing. And stored in a smoke free home. All info retrieved from garment as to: fiber/s, etc is written on tags attatched to each hank or cake, along with the counted yardage. I do not straighten the waves/wrinkles out of the yarn, as that process removes the individual character of each yarn. Some hanks or cakes, may or may not have tiny knots, either placed there by myself or by the yarn manufacturer.
