Description: These are very old reclaimed clay roofing tiles made in early 1900's at the town of LUDOWICI, GA. which is well noted for the local tile roofs still used in this area. Would make an outstanding small building roof or for an accent type roof for many projects. Easily installed, wired in place or nailed in on simple slat type framing. Unless a tree, large limb or other similar accident fell on, they are almost indestructible and make a lasting very cooling roof material. The clay strata about an inch thick makes an outstanding deflector of the sons rays to help keep cool when used as roofing. The pics show some of the different types of tiles. Most are of the rectangular pattern, but I also have some top saddle pieces as well as some French corrugated pieces. Though I have around 1000+ of these tiles, some are limited in quantities.
