Description: This is a vintage rare New England Clock Company Weight Driven Wall Clock in really great condition. Has some markings consistent with its age, but not many. It’s in very nice condition. It is missing the wood backing as shown in the picture, but that could easily be replaced. Was tested by previous owner in April and works. The New England Clock Company, established in 1958 by William Kenneth Sessions Jr. in Bristol, Connecticut, was renowned for producing clocks that combined traditional American craftsmanship with imported movements. The New England Clock Company was especially known for its weight-driven wall clocks, which are now considered vintage collectibles. These clocks typically featured wooden frames and analog displays, embodying the mid-20th-century aesthetic. Their designs, which blend colonial aesthetics with reliable mechanics, make them notable examples of American clock-making from that period.
