Description: You are buying the complete History of one US sailor who illegally enlisted in the US Navy June 6 1917 or April 30 1917 both dates are listed. His First ship was the receiving ship Norfolk, he was transfers to the U S S Wisconsin, and then transfers to the U S S New York, and finally is transfers to the troop transport U S S President Lincoln. The 15,000 ton USS Lincoln had crossed the Atlantic Ocean and delivered it full load of US troop in England and was on the way home when the USS Lincoln was torpedoed on May 31 1918 by the German submarine U90. The USS Lincoln went down in a short period of time with a number of casualties, Cornelius J Boyle was injured and taken to the U S Naval Hospital in New York.After treatment it was discovered of his fraudulent enlistment in the Navy by Admiral E G Parker Medical Director USN of the New York Hospital.On July 5 1918 Cornelius Boyle received a Fraudulent notice, stating "Having been discharged from the United States Naval Service by virtue of an approved medical survey and not having been recommended for reenlistment , you are warned against fraudulent enlistment." On August 30 1918 Boyle was buried at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Philadelphia.There exist a number of Questions about F 2 Boyle.
