Description: 8 Day Gold Finish Unique Grassho Rare 1880 Chinese Bronze Inlaid Automaton Figure Ebony Case Mantel Clock Here we are offering a rare Chinese ebony case bracket clock. Front case is inlaid with bronze inlaid and nearly in perfect condition. 5 brass finials located on the top of the case. This clock has an 8 day fusee chain driven movement with quarterly striking. On the hour strike, an immortal figure raise his hand and reveal his scroll, which reads "Heavenly Sent Blessing". The brass movement is engraved. A large window on each side of the case that allows a view to the movement. Time shows on a large porcelain dial with Roman numerals. The entire clock measures 23-1/2" tall, 12-1/2" wide and 7" deep. This clock is made around 1880 in a Canton workshop. It has recently been cleaned and all functions are in proper working order. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me.
