This set is made of gray map jasper with an olive wood cruciform bead. The olive wood bead is made by Christian craftsmen and women working in small and home based factories in the Bethlehem area. The cross is a pewter metal.They are only 4.5 inches long from the top to the bottom of the cross. A perfect size to carry with you in pocket or purse. I am a newcomer to Protestant prayer beads. I believe they are a great tool to enhance one's prayer life. There is no right or wrong way to use prayer beads; you can just touch the beads as you pray. If you want to use my method, I include a copy with your purchase. If you are a mom or dad, lead you children to prayer by example. These are pretty just laying around. I lay my beads on a table near where I pray; just seeing them lie there is an awesome reminder. They are carefully packaged in a black organza bag with a Lord's Prayer bookmark for gift giving. If you need more than one of these, please email me. Most of the time I can comply. A normal prayer bead set has 34 beads, 33 beads for the life of Christ and one Resurrection bead plus a cross. The 4 Cruciform beads make the shape of a cross. In between the Cruciform beads are 7 beads for the 7 days of the week. This set has only beads for one week. but you can go around the beads as many time as you like.
