Description: This Pioneer CT-F1000 Stereo Cassette is a fully functioning vintage audio device that comes with new lamps, belts, and tires. It is a great addition to any consumer electronics collection and is perfect for those who love vintage audio and video. The cassette deck was cleaned and serviced in 2022. All switches, potentiometers, contacts, and RCA plugs were cleaned & deoxidized. The VU meter lamps, belts, and tires were replaced then, too. The transport was lubricated as well. This deck is perfect for those who want to relive the nostalgia of vintage, analog sound, or for those who just appreciate the retro style. I have not used this deck much at all this year, and I will be thinning out my audio collection next year. This unit was tested for several hours last week and found to be fully functional. There are several minor blemishes, so please look over the photos. There is a small area of rust on the left side that can be observed in the photo. I took a couple of close-up photos of minor damage to the faceplate (see the last two photos). Finally, there was a minor, intermittent issue that I must disclose to the buyer. Rarely, the transport motor did not engage the 1st time I popped a tape in. I determined the issue would be solved by replacing the "tape presence" switch on top of the transport, just under the top cover. Good News: A good dose of contact cleaner to the switch seemed to have solved this issue.
