Description: This is a dinner plate from the Penn Harris Hotel in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. This Hotel was located on the corner of 3rd and Walnut streets in downtown Harrisburg and was opened New Years Eve of 1918. The hotel was demolished in the fall of 1973. This plate was from the 1950's to 60's era. In the early to mid 20th century it was the largest banquet and meeting facility in Harrisburg. At its peak the hotel had 5 restaurants and 200 employees.
