Description: This very early Pauline Eaton Original Artwork is arguably one of the most unique available to own in the art world today. Pauline regularly created much larger pieces of work in her Transparent Watercolor medium, some measuring 5 feet x 10 feet in width and length. Her most common/standard size is 46" x 36". At just 30" x 22", this is an opportunity to own an example of her work that can be displayed in a wider variety of locations in the home. The subject mater also reflects Mid-West and Western Americana in an enigmatic, ghostly-nostalgic way. The scene could be from 1935 or 1985, no way to know for certain. She captured the expression of a culture so effectively in her strokes, it is easily understood by most anyone born and raised in the United States. This watercolor was never displayed by the owner from whose estate it was required. It has no fading. Purchased and stored since the 1980s here in Southern California, it is as brilliant and vibrant as the day she created it. The signature is subdued (not distractingly overwhelming) yet crisp and clear. We've endeavored to take as many photos as we thought necessary including the medium watermark. Please let us know if any more images need to be uploaded. It will ship in it's original acid-free Matt and also the backing Matt that was with it when we un-wrapped it. We will accommodate any buyer who wishes to pick-up in person. Shipping will include meticulous preparation strategy for safe arrival and will also include insurance for the full purchase price.
