The round base width is 5-1/4". Each weighs 1 lb. 13 oz. Pattern Description: Pressed/Patterned Glass, Oak Leaf & Acorn Etched Pattern. Unmarked. Made in the U.S.A. Discontinued. Company History: The Paden City Glass Factory, located in Paden City, West Virginia, was built in 1915 with production starting November 15, 1916. David Fisher, who at that time was manager of New Martinsville Glass, became the first general manager/president. This line of glassware was unsigned; the only identification mark was a label glued to the glass piece that most customers removed. This highly successful plant provided elegant glassware in the United States for 35 years reaching its height in popularity during the Great Depression. The pattern mold and mold blown glass it manufactured was well known for its quality. Condition: Excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Signs of light use may be present.
