Description: *This beautiful Pennsylvania K4s 4-6-2 steam locomotive is like new old stock. Built by United Scale Models of Japan in 1970. Only 450 of these beauties were ever produced. Unpainted & MINT showing zero wear on the wheels.Test ran on 12/11/24 and found her to run exceptionally smooth in both directions. Super cool to see from a vintage piece of brass of this age. She was quite noisy though, I suspect this was just the gearbox not being properly lubricated/broken in yet. She’s also been re-motored using a can motor. This locomotive is NOT DCC ready, however it can be easily converted to DCC using a hardwired decoder.
