About the ArtistJohn Lawrence (1933-2011) was a British artist born in Kent England. He rose to fame in the 1960s as an illustrator. Lawrence's works includes a wide range of subjects, styles and mediums; notably a series of subtle, etherial coastal watercolors in the early 1980s. He was active artist until his death in 2011.
