ITEM: Original WWI Snapshot Photo of GERMAN 5th BATTERY, FIELD ARTILLERY REGIMENT 219 - ARTILLERY SHELL HOLE on the EASTERN FRONT, circa 1916-1917. Photo was taken by a German of the 5th Battery, Field Artillery Regiment 219 on the Eastern Front during World War I. He at least passed through Warsaw, Poland and was at one point near Riga, Latvia. I think his last name might have been Bode since he wrote to a Fraulein Emily Bode in Frankfurt who might have been his sister. SORRY.
