Description: ORIGINAL TIZ-IT STYLE 45 Degree ELBOW for EDISON/COLUMBIA PHONOGRAPHS & HORN This is a hard to find original (circa 1900 to 1915) "Tiz-It" Style (non-articulating) elbow for Edison, Columbia and Other Cylinder Phonographs. The overall condition is very good with no dings or deformations This is an original of a 45 degree angle horn connector made for use on antique cylinder phonographs such as Edison and Columbia. They are used to change the angle of the horn to match various setups. If your machine's reproducer sound tube faces straight up, this can be put on the reproducer's sound tube and then the horn orientation would face forward instead of straight up. This were also used on some early Coin-Operated Cylinder Record Phonographs, like the Columbia AS or BS as well as some Edison Phonographs. This allows positioning the horn in the required direction.. I am Walt Sommers and I own Gettysburg Antique Phonographs and operate my shop on a full time basis.
