Oppo BDP-95 Universal Disc Player, with Upgrades and Remote

Description: Phenomenal 2-channel disc source ! Includes a remote and power cord. Everything works, and the boards have been updated/upgraded as follows: Starting with the SMPS board, upgrades include all new, audio quality capacitors. Almost all resistors replaced with high quality components from Vishay Dale, etc. To further clean up the power supply, there is a jumper installed that replaces the 115/220V switch. So be aware this unit is set up for 115V only. The original switch is disconnected, and dangling inside from the rear panel. Moving on to the dedicated audio linear power supply, the stock rectifier diodes have been replaced with Hyperfast, soft recovery diodes to lower noise and switching losses. All filter caps have been replaced with high end Nichicon audio grade capacitors. Filter capacity has been increased over 40%. On the audio board, all resistors in the XLR stereo signal path have been replaced with Vishay Dales, as well as some of the ones in the RCA path. (Getting harder to find all the resistor values needed.) The stock WIMA MKS film caps in the signal path were replaced with boutiquey Amtrans AMCH Copper Foil film caps. All electrolytic caps in the 2-channel section have also been replaced with audio grade options. What all this achieves, is a much quieter background for your musical enjoyment. Although optimized for stereo sound, I did test it with a Blu-ray movie to make sure the HDMI works. I have also added some additional passive cooling over the main processor, to help with longevity of this unit.
