Description: This offering is for an antique early late 19th to early 20th century Folk Art Parlor Guitar. The instrument is shaped like a typical early guitar with a wide body but it has places for eight pegs so I'm not sure what to call it. The overall length is app. 22" and body is 1.25" thick. There are no pegs or tail piece to attach the strings to. The condition is very nice with scattered minor wear to the surface that includes two tight cracks on the lower back right side. I think the woods are fir and walnut. I believe the body style is quite early but my expertise to say for sure when it was made is limited.
