Description: This is an NOS poster created by John Jordal, Electro-Motive last styling artist, in 1994 to celebrate Burlington Northern's purchase of the first AC locomotive. If you ever get the chance to speak with an artist, they will tell you that snow is the hardest thing to paint. John did a masterful job of creating this painting. When I first met John, he was working in EMD's Engineering Department. I was working in EMD's Service Department Training Center and we needed a cutaway poster for teaching turbocharger theory. He created that poster probably in the mid-1980's. A few years later, we reversed positions with John moving to the Service Department and I moving to Engineering. We continued our relationship with John and I working together to create a series of coffee mugs using his artwork. We did make a coffee mug from this painting. Poster is on high grade paper and measures 16" x 20". Painting is named "Northern Exposure". Poster and COA are both signed by John. See my other listing for a couple of pieces of other posters created by John. I will ship this USPS flat for $15.95.
