Description: Motorola ASTRO Spectra VHF High Power The radio turns on perfectly. It does require programming for the user’s operations. I no longer need this radio as it did not meet my needs. I have bought a RIB (Radio Interface Box) and a programming cable in the past for programming and I have included it on the listing, which the RIB includes a 9 Volt battery. They do work well. It does need to be connected to a serial port on a computer as a USB-to-Serial Adapter did not work for me. I cannot remember what the new FLASHcode is the last time I programmed it. However, it does have the “I’ve been FLASHed” sticker and the FLASHcode label. In order to program these old radios, you must have a Windows 10 or earlier computer with a 32-bit Operating System. The Motorola ASTRO Spectra radios cannot be programmed directly on a 64-bit Operating System, but can be attempted with an emulator software. The Motorola ASTRO Spectra programming software can be downloaded online.
