Description: This beautiful Minton plate and saucer set is a stunning example of the Ancestral pattern, made from fine bone china in England in. The intricate floral design features rose and pale turquoise flowers with brown lacey stems and leaves. The set includes both a saucer and a plate, and the backstamp is impressed for authenticity. There are two small orange dots under the glaze on the plate and someone wrote a tiny 5. in orange on the back of the plate. The saucer has a tiny 4. and what appears to be a "B" on the back of it. I do not know the significance of these numbers, but I could not get them off and my grandmother is no longer around to ask. She had them in her collection and I received them when she passed at age 101.
