Description: Marantz 2270 Stereo Receiver Modern Banana Speaker Jack Plate May be used with modern speakers using "banana jacks". Also included are 4 (2-red and 2-black) shrink tubing for the banana jacks for better insulation. Personal note: I have installed this plate on my personal Marantz 2270 and listening to music after the installation, I find that there is better sound clarity than the original stock terminal. The banana plug has more surface area than the original terminal. The original terminal has very little contact with the speaker wire (please see the last 2 dissasembled photos).
