Description: Selling an Archival Luna Monde Poster from the Luna Luna exhibit in 1987 in Germany. About Luna Luna: Thirty-six years ago, Luna Luna landed in Hamburg, Germany: the world’s first art amusement park with rides, games, and attractions by visionaries like Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring, and David Hockney. By a twist of fate, the park’s treasures were soon sealed in 44 shipping containers and forgotten in Texas—until now. This poster is authentic from the actual historic event featuring moon graphics designed by the original cohort of Luna Luna artists in 1987. André Heller asked each participating artist to create their own moon graphic—this print collects the full suite of 33 and includes artwork contributions by Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring, Salvador Dali, Roy Lichtenstein, Kenny Scharf, David Hockney and others. Printed in Europe. Please bear in mind: This is a vintage print, recovered from a lot of archival merchandise unseen for nearly three decades. It has been thoroughly inspected by our conservation team and is declared to be undamaged. A certificate of authenticity is included. This is the LARGE SIZE version in VERY GOOD condition. Poster Size: 46.8 x 33.1" (1189mm x 841mm) done on120 GSM Paper Quality: Thin smooth machine-made wove paper with optical brighteners and coated surface.
