It is often good to reverse the belt direction occasionally for cleaning and extended life. Some belt manufacturers put a directional arrow on their bidirectional belt, this is the direction the belt should be used first. These belts are an excellent choice for sanding wood, fiberglass, painted surfaces and grinding metal.
