Description: Biblical Archaeology Review (BAR) is a bi-monthly magazine that is dedicated to exploring the connections between archaeology in the Middle East and the world of the Bible. BAR offers information about archaeological sites that may have been the locations of significant events. Also contained in BAR is coverage of artifacts and artwork that are found at dig sites across the Middle East. Although scholarly in content, the articles are written to be understood by ordinary adults interested in history, religion, and archaeology, and are fully illustrated in color. Each issue is 64-96 pages. We will be listing a large number of back issues, in annual sets. This year's magazines are all like new; unmarked, with very minimal shelf wear. There is an address label on the front cover of the March-April issue. Please note that we also have listings for some issues of the sister magazine, Bible Review, which focuses more on the text than on the context. See photos. Non-smoking, pet-free home. Shipped via priority mail (USPS wonβt let us send these media mail; first-class is too expensive). Please note that we will be happy to combine shipping on all orders of more than one item. Unlike the big sellers with their million feedback scores, wild overgrading, stock photos, and generic descriptions, each of our magazines is individually graded and accurately described, and will never disappoint; all photos are of the actual magazine(s). Happy reading!
