Description: Perhaps one of the most dramatic pieces(and large too) of late 19th century Julius Dressler--I have ever seen and I have handled over two hundred pieces of his wonderful majolica in my lifetime. I bought it with these two flaws because it was so outstanding and I had never seen another like it. Look closely at the photos--you can see the chip on the plateau where a saucier must have sat at one time--and on the back you can barely see the spider that I am talking about...very solid and no threat to stability--but you must know they are there--just like I did when I bought it...the pictures will justify my raving over the beauty of this thing. Size wise-- it is 13x14 inches and 5.5 inches at its tallest point(the pair of Asparagus handles...If perfect this piece would bring in the $600-$700 range but I'm starting it for only $195.00--Good luck bidding...Thanks for looking... ATTENTION; EBAY SHIPPING QUOTEIS NOT CORRECT--SHOULD BE $28.50--SO IF YOU ARE BUYING THIS ASPARAGUS SERVER PLEASE DO NOT PAYFOR IT RIGHT AWAY--WAIT FOR ME TO SEND YOU A CORRECTED INVOICE TO SAVE YOU MONEY... THANKS AGAIN...
