The baseball themed business card opens to a picture of Doby in uniform with a list of his Major League Records, and advertising slogan, ‘“Major League” Financial Planning”, and where Doby has signed and inscribed the inside panel, “Best Wishes Mike, Larry Doby.” Doby began his baseball career in the Negro League playing with the Newark Eagles (NJ) at the age of 17. After Jackie Robinson, Doby became the second black player to break baseball’s color barrier and the first African American player in the American League, debuting with the Cleveland Indians on July 5, 1947. 4 X 4.25 (open), 4 X 2.375 when closed.
