Description: Overall this Vintage H23" x L9" Hand Carved Wood Lion w/ private parts/Organs Displayed Underbelly is in very good condition with a nice patina in old wood. There are areas where the wood had split from drying which adds to the charm and possibly in the wood prior to the carving many years ago. There are some minor signs of wear from age and handling as shown in the provided photos. I am not sure of the origins of this sculpture other than from an estate in Southern Ontario Canada near St. Thomas. No breaks or repairs.
