Featuring a round shape with a bit of a well within the border for collecting meat juices or similar, it is decorated with a scalloped rope border and the wonderful Pink Tower pattern. Bearing the old COPELAND SPODE'S TOWER ENGLAND mark, condition is lovely with no chips, cracks, hairlines, repairs, discoloration or damage - there may be a hint of a rub to the exterior edge from use. Just a beautiful piece - so large and dramatic -- my Grandmother always displayed it on a large wood stand as a centerpiece to her SPODE PINK TOWER collection.
