Description: Nice medium size box perfect for holding playing cards, business cards, trinkets, etc. My research indicates it is a Korean style decoration. It features inlaid mother of pearl decoration including a ying and yang / taegeuk symbol in the center. Some of the boxes online open on a hinge, but this one simply lifts off. On first look, I thought this was plastic painted to look like wood, but online sources identify it as heavily lacquered wood. Box is lined with red velveteen -- there is one discolored area. Box overall is in good used condition with the expected signs of use. Box is 4 5/8 inches long, 3 1/4 inches wide, and 1 1/2 inches off the tabletop. **See photos for details and relative size.
