The whole chain is held together by a white string going through two transparent main beads to which are attached two white tassels. Japanese Buddhist rosary bracelets (Juzu or Nenju) are used for daily religious practices as well as at funerals and other Buddhist ceremonies. When using a rosary, hold it in your left hand. Put your hands together when you pray and place the prayer beads between your index finger and thumb. If the rosary is long, hold it in two rows. (How to hold varies by denomination).
