Ideal Electricians Linesman Pliers No 30-420 Made USA Crimp Die NE Side-Cutting

Description: These electricians pliers are really nice and in excellent condition. They are very lightly used and only used a few times. They have been well taken care of and kept in their package when not in use. They can be used as regular linesman pliers, but are specifically made for electricians. I believe the crimping part of the pliers would be used on a barrel sleeve on solid wires. Then of course you can cut wires and twist them with the rest of the plier, for example when wiring a plug box or a switch box. An electrician would know more about it than I would. They're made in USA and are of very high quality. The Ideal pliers that they now make are not quite that ideal and are made in China. I think they stopped making these exact ones in about 2010. The two patent dates are from 1956 and 1957, but with these pliers likely being made quite a while after that. The pliers have the thinner dip type grips that are preferred by many.
