Description: This little gem displays the eminence talent of Henry Malfroy- Savigny. I think he is one of the finest of the French artist of his day. His attention to detail and colors are always wonderful. This painting measures 10 3/4" x 14 and with the frame 14 x 17 1/4" over all. The painting and frame are in good condition and ready to hang. It will be a great addition to any home and because of it's size will fit in easily. ABOUT THE ARTIST: Henry Malfroy ( b. January 15, 1895, in Martinique; died in 1944) He was a post-impressionist painter of landscapes and seascapes. He could be the son of Charles Malfroy, with whom he is often confused. He exhibited regularly in Paris, at the Salon of French Artists and of Independents. With Charles Malfroy, he painted the hillsides and ports of Bouches-du-Rhone and of Var.
