Description: I am selling a rare HBO The Pacific 11x14 inch photograph personally hand autographed by (16) WWII veterans who were the inspiration for HBO’s The Pacific miniseries. Each of the WWII veterans who autographed this combo signed 11x14 inch photograph served with John Basilone, Robert Leckie H/2/1 or E.B. Sledge K/3/5. The veterans who autographed this 11x14 inch combo photograph took part in the majority of the major WWII Pacific battles including the Battle of Guadalcanal, Battle of Cape Gloucester, Battle of Peleliu, Battle of Iwo Jima and Battle of Okinawa. The exploits of these veterans were immortalized in HBO’s 10 part miniseries “The Pacific”. The winning bidder will receive a Certificate of Authenticity guaranteeing that the autographed poster is 100% authentic. The buyer will also receive a flyer from HBO The Pacific sent in 2010 that the majority of these autographs where obtained at. Mr. Greer appears in several of the introduction clips of HBOs The Pacific speaking about his experiences with John Basilone on Guadalcanal. -Corporal James Anderson WWII 1943-1946 K/3/5 Battle of New Britain, Peleliu, Okinawa, Bronze Star (Okinawa), Purple Heart (New Britain hit in left leg with shrapnel from Japanese mortar). Served in the same company with E.B. Sledge. -James “Dick” Kerin WWII Paramarine/ B Company, 1st Battalion, 27th Marines, Iwo Jima, Silver Star Recipient (3rd highest military decoration).
