Description: Due to personal and work commitments, I post twice a month.Hans Hansen Denmark Sterling Silver Modernist Brutalist Vintage Coil Spring Thick Ring #16Designed by famous Danish jewellery designer Karl Gustav Hansen for Hans Hansen and handmade in Denmark in 1960s.It's difficult to measure this ring, but I try my best.Top part of the ring is 1.35 cm x 0.7 cm (width) and sits 0.85 cm high from a finger.Shank's width is from 6 mm (widest top part) to 3.5 mm (narrowest part next to coil spring), thickness is from 2.5 mm to 1.5 mm.Weight is 6.81 gr (on my jewellery scale).Ring's internal diameter is about 17 mm, my professional ring mandrel gives UK sizes L - L 1/2, US sizes 6 - 6 1/4, EU size 51 1/2 (please see on pictures).Stamped: Hans Hansen mark, 925S (Sterling Silver), Denmark, 16 (design number).The ring is in a very good vintage condition with some slightly visible signs of use and lovely patina.
