Description: This is a hard to find Hamilton 18size pocket watch that was custom made for the C.H. Reynolds jewelry store in Alpena, Michigan in 1899. They made a run of 500 in total. The movement is a 17 jewel model that features a Goldthwait regulator and a Breguet hairspring, along with screw set jewel bezels. The movement is not currently running due to a bad balance staff. The movement is very clean otherwise, and should be a relatively easy fix. The movement plate and dial are both signed with the jeweler’s name. The dial is in good condition, but has a few hairlines as seen in the photos. The case is a 3 piece screw type made of silveroid. The case is in very good condition, and the crystal is good as well with a few minor scrapes. The movement will set easily, and the winding crown also easily moves backward… the spring is fully wound however. A great watch to repair! Please see my other watch listings!
