Description: This lovely piece of Haegar pottery was produced in their Macomb, Il plant for Haegar Floral. It is dark blue, footed, and has a soft swirl pattern. The upper rim is scalloped to peak at the swirls. It was originally designed as a vase for a floral arrangement or centerpiece. Since it is clean and has no drainage hole, it could also be used as a compote bowl to serve food. This simple design is so versatile that it could complement a variety of decors simply by changing what you put in it. No chips, cracks, or crazing. The label is loose at the ends. There are some pimples in the bottom of the bowl. There is a scratch on 1 side. The upper rim feels a little rough at the peaks. At first, I thought maybe it was chipped and had been touched up, but under close examination and feeling the smoothness of the area on the inside, I believe this is the way the bowl was made.
