Description: Vintage Navajo hand made sterling silver and turquoise ring by famous maker Gary Reeves (1956 - 2014). Gary is the brother of Sunshine Reeves and David Reeves and half brother to Andy and Donovan Cadman. He taught them silversmithing. This nice, big ring features two natural turquoise cabochons set in plain bezels. The gemstones have some dark and some chalky webbed matrix, but there are no cracks. The silver work is traditional Navajo with appliqued rain beads, leaves, wire work and a chiseled frame around the stones. The band is a triple split shank. 1/4" wide. This is a large, statement ring. It is signed G. Reeves sterling. The ring has a rich patina with a few superficial scratches on the band, overall in excellent pre-owned condition.
