Description: High quality Franz Hermle German clock movement with case being made in Italy contains beautiful 6 ½” gilded brass dial with white enameled cartouches on which are black glazed Roman numerals; accented with black enameled brass hour/minute clock hands; an adjustable brass weight pendulum; clock face is protected with a substantially decorated hinged gilded brass door frame fitted with a clear beveled glass which shuts against the elm burl wood clock case surround; the black lacquered clock case backside contains a second hinged wood door with a friction fit; 2 nickel bells help create the “bim-bam” chime sound which resonates beautifully within the clock case; clock case sits upon 4 French scroll gilded brass feet; clock case is handsomely designed with satin finished elm burl wood; both movement & bell assemblies are mounted securely to case. Chiming correctly & running on time. Comes with winding key. APPROXIMATE CLOCK DIMENSIONS: height 22 ½” x width 12 ½” x depth 5 ½” I am NOT a retailer. I am an antique clock collector wishing to reduce my clock collection. This clock comes from my collection & has been running successfully for several years with no difficulties. It has been tested prior to this offering. Clock set-up to establish the correct “beat” is paramount to the clock’s operation, accomplished through placement & leveling (sometimes with rotating the movement while in the clock case). Additionally, temperature & humidity may affect it over time as well. Do not over wind the clock. Lastly, I cannot not guarantee the clock’s operation once shipped. I do take pride as a seller and buyer of these clocks. All shipments will be carefully wrapped in bubble wrap (key & pendulum wrapped separately) set tightly into box containing Styrofoam peanuts, tapped shut & then placed into second box (as may be necessary) filled with padding for added protection, taped shut on all sides.
