One of the most famous fossils finds of the area Solnhofen was the discovery of the Archaeopteryx, Which essentially has the skeleton of a Dino, but covered in feathers. Not only is this deposit important because of the find of the Archaeopteryx. This deposit is amongst the most famous and well-known due to the taste diversity of preserved organisms, both plants, and animals. Among fossil shrimp, there are also superbly preserved jellyfish, squid fish, fossil dragonflies, horseshoe crabs, etc. The specimen is 5.5 by 5.3 by 0.9 cm's in size.
