Description: This is a lovely cut glass footed Jar & lid. Measures: 5" tall by 3-1/4" wide. 2-5/8" wide top rim. This is from the American Brilliant period (1870 to 1920's). Depending on which catalog it was sold in, this shape jar had different marketed uses- in the Dorflinger catalog pg. CAT2-96, it is called a "Lavender Salts Jar", in the Burley $ Tyrell catalog it was called a "Violet Incense Jar"I am not sure which company cut this daisy pattern on it- I feel Dorflinger is the co. that made the jar, and perhaps they also cut the pattern as they did do some daisies. Condition: It displays great. It is over 100 years old so its really nice for the age and typical condition these days.. I see no chips or cracks................................................................*No Returns/Refunds Policy*...Please Note that we do not accept returns or refunds. Please see the many pictures above, read our descriptions, and ask all questions before bidding as we will respond, and there should be no problems... Thank you*Items lost in shipment or not received*... If they are lost in transit, we will be required to wait the specified time by the shipper to file the insurance claim- there is no other way to do this as that is their rules and we will have to wait their time limits.
