Description: Fenton Art Glass Vasa Murrhina Cased Crimped Basket Autumn Orange For consideration is this vintage glass basket made by Fenton Art Glass in West Virginia, USA, sometime between 1964 and 1968. This basket is crimped (the pie crust looking edge), and cased (two or more layers of different colors) on the inside in white glass. The pattern name is Vasa Murrhina and it is in the Autumn Orange color, a combination of brown and red orange swirled colors. This also has “mica” in the glass, which are gold sparkly flecks that looks like gold glitter. The handle is clear applied glass. This basket measures 7½ inches tall, the outside mouth measures 5 3/8 inches in diameter and the base measures 3¼ inches in diameter. There is no makers mark.
