There is no fret wear. The truss rod has been tested and functions properly. The electronics all function properly. The original tremolo bar, Fender gig bag, warranty card and wrench are included. This Strat weighs 8 pounds. Setup has been dialed in upon arrival, with medium action, optimally adjusted relief, and proper intonation up and down the neck. The original nickel-plated steel .009-.042 strings are installed.OverviewThis guitar is part of a 2023 Fender Special Run for one Japanese music retailer and features a gorgeous gloss polyester Surf Green finish with 3-ply Eggshell pickguard and control knobs. A late 60s plus-sized headstock with Fender Vintage “F” tuners sits atop the impeccably crafted maple neck with urethane gloss vintage tint finish and just a bit of birdseye peeking through on the maple. The familiar 25.5-inch scale U-profile maple neck feels reassuringly substantial and comfortable to play without feeling clunky. The 1.615-inch wide real bone nut sits at the top of the classically beautiful rosewood fretboard, which offers 22 expertly finished vintage frets and white dot position markers.
