Description: This is a giant (19" x 25") poster of Expo 67, the 1967 world's fair held in Montreal to commemorate Canada's centennial year. This shows the two main islands, Ile Ste Helene and Ile Notre Dame. Of note is the US pavilion (Buckminster Fuller's biggest dome), which is still standing (minus its acrylic shell). Facing the US pavilion is the "ski slope" of the Russian pavilion - dismantled and rebuilt in Moscow as an exhibit hall at an industrial trade fair ground. Condition: The posters are in good condition. Slight yellowing of the paper (especially in the unprinted white borders) - not surprising for posters printed more than 50 years ago. There may be slight creasing around the edges Look at my Expo 67 digital photo collection - more than 2,340 digital images plus many scanned documents, brochures, and programs. Also with a home video. The photo collection is supplied on a USB stick. If you buy the photo collection, I can ship it inside the mailing tube with no additional shipping cost. I have more Expo 67 books and souvenirs!! Shipping: 1) Please check shipping costs before purchasing. I don't set the mailing rates!
