Description: I am a retired ObGyn and medical historian who has collected books and instruments for over 40 years. Age and downsizing have prompted me to pass along my items to younger collectors with the space to display them. As time permits, I will be listing approximately 300 books and over 100 instruments on eBay. This is an original 1994 "Classics in Obstetrics and Gynecology - Innovative Papers that have Contributed to Current Clinical Practice". Edited by Eskes and Longo. Illustrated. 398 pp. This is a near-mint copy, unmarked except for my signature on the inside front cover. Very minor shelf wear. Please look at the photos. It measures ~ 10.25 x 7.25 x 1.5". and weighs ~ 3 lb 2 oz. Tom Kees Anton Bonifacius Eskes (1933-2011) was an eminent Dutch Obgyn. Lawrence Daniel Longo (1926-2016) was professor of ObGyn at the Loma Linda university School of Medicine. Longo was the editor of the Gryphon Editions "Classics in Obstetrics and Gynecology Library" during the 1990s. The Historical introduction describes some early contributions to the field. Each of the next 12 chapters is devoted to a classic paper, 6 in Obstetrics, 6 in Gynecology. I will ship U.S.P.S. Media Mail. International sales will be handled by eBay.
