It was NEVER WORN, NEVER UNWRAPPED and in ORIGINAL PACKAGING!!! VERY LIMITED EDITION!!! I am in the process of thinning out my Erte bronze and associated Erte collection items! From a Smoke & Pet Free Home! THIS RING HAS SAT UNUSED IN ITS ORIGINAL BOX AND STORED AWAY ALL THESE YEARS! The RING is Stamped "10" but the outside of the box says "9.5". My ring size is 9.5 so I assume the closet ring they had was a ring size 10. ERTE (1892-1990) Born Romain de Tirtoff in imperial St. Petersburg, Russia, Erte derived his pen name from the French pronunciation of his initials "R.T." Over a long and distinguished career, he had a major influence on the style and design of the 20th Century. The designs created by Erte during his life influenced not only the world of theater, film and fashion, but an entire art movement as well. The genius of the artist is evidenced by an enormous body of work that is considered among the most influential and unique of the 20th century. His achievements earned him the title "Father of Art Deco." Samson and Delilah is one of Erte's most dramatic graphic works of art. It is based on The Old Testament story and it superbly express the tragedy of the once powerful Samson, now submissive to the beautiful Delilah. Erte is engraved on the shank (see picture).
