Description: Emory & Douglas old brass ships Lamp Year Unknown British Make. Here is an old brass ships lamp that stands 11" h x 6" w. It;s marked on the top, EMERY & DOUGLAS CO LTD, HILTON-ON-TYNE, ADMIRALTY SERVICE. On the oil canister it's marked, SIMPLEX. The wick works well and the oil container is removed from the top with a brass stem that lifts up out of the top. The only thing wrong with it is that has not been restored, but I didn't want to ruin the value of it. If you require more pictures, let me know.
