Description: An exceptional Early 20th Century Piece in very fine cotton lawn with a pretty broderie anglaise lace bodice which ends in a gracefully gathered long skirt. The bottom of the skirt is heavily decorated with 3 rows of pinch pleats alternating with a beautiful tape lace. The edge is ruffled into the same broderie anglaise in the bodice. This exquisite dress will come to you freshly hand-laundered using fine non-allergenic soap and pressed. The condition is good. It is very clean and free of spots, however the are several holes which are visible in the photos. Nevertheless, the cotton doesn't feel too fragile for use.
