Description: Offered for your consideration is a large clear glass plate made by the McKee and Brothers Glass Company (1853-1899) in their "Sylvia" pattern. This pattern was introduced in the late 1890s. The plate measures 11.25 inches (28.6 cm) in diameter to widest points and is over 1 inch (2.5 cm) tall. This beautiful plate is in very good used condition with no cracks nor repairs. There is chipping and roughness in places along scalloped rim and light scratches and scuffing on plate surface. See photos. Plate is used so there may be minor wear or additional signs of use. The glass is bright and clear with no cloudiness, discoloration, nor lime scale present. There may be bubbles, a shear (straw) mark, and other minor imperfections within the glass due to the glass making process used at the time.
