Description: I'm selling two of the hardcovers from the Doctor Solar Man of the Atom Dark Horse Archives series. Each one contains the dust jacket. Doctor Solar Man of the Atom Volume Two (June 2005, Dark Horse Books, 1st Edition) - This 200+ page hardcover contains reprints of the Gold Key issues #8-#14 from July 1964 to September 1965. The dust jacket has retained nice reflectivity; the hardcover and all its' pages (which are white) are firmly attached. The dust jacket has creasing at the top right-hand edge (approx. 2"), there is a little indenting at the top left- and bottom-left hand corners; the binding has a little creasing at the top edge, and some color loss at the bottom edge; the dust jacket back cover top left-hand corner edge has some chipping and the bottom left-hand corner a small tear. Doctor Solar Man of the Atom Volume Three (September 2005, Dark Horse Books, 1st Edition) - This 200-page hardcover contains reprints of the Gold Key issues #15-#22 from December 1965 to January 1968. The dust jacket has retained nice reflectivity; the hardcover and all its' pages (which are white) are firmly attached. The dust jacket top edge has some rippling from overhang, the bottom edge has bubbling in the plastic covering, the bottom right-hand corner has a little wear and color loss, there are two scratch marks to the right of "Solar" near the right-hand edge; the binding has some creasing at the top edge and color loss and creasing at the bottom edge; the back cover has some rippling at the top edge from overhang and an approx. 1/8" crease at the top right-hand corner, the bottom left-hand corner has some color loss and wear at the right-hand corner.
